Got up early in the morning to make it here before the first tourist buses arrive
Hope, this will be worth it
OK, this is impressive. Especially when you know that the whole structure has been buried in dirt and forgotten for ages.
Made it up
Not many people here yet
Besides these Buddhas
The walls are decorated with carvings, telling one long story
These tiles must have been a nightmare to plan
Checking out the view
Look at the forest/jungle from up here
Uncommon shapes
Mountains in the distance
Huh, elephants
Elephants, a gift from Thailand
And… splash!
Yeah, that’s better.
Tourist posing pics
A question that came up in the last weeks: How do you pose for these pics without looking as awkward as you feel?
Best buddies Lukas and Juho
Saida posing sarcastically but nailing it
Luxy and Emma forced to pose
Can’t get enough of this
I love how the green fades into blue in the distance
Wallpaper
A closer look at the Buddhas
… and at the bell things
Casually sitting in the shade, not knowing about the camera behind me
The close up of the temple tiles looks like a very first version of Tetris. And the wallpaper shot is truly awesome. It has a very breath-of-the-wild-esque look on it. Lovin’ it. Thanks again for the great impressions 🙂
… More like Block Tile Puzzle than like Tetris, actually. 😉 And the pastel color scheme is really something. Didn’t find in any treasure chests or cool items though.
