Saying Goodbye to these cute islands
I tried to order a 4 $ coconut here, but they couldn’t sell me one because they were… out of coconuts. Which is ironic. Because fresh coconuts were literally lying around on the beach.
First things first: It’s not pronounced Nakula, but Nathula, with an interdental fricative ð. If you say Nakula, nobody understands which island you’re talking about.
So Lo has a cat… but had no intention of giving him a name.
I nearly booked the wrong place here, because “Korovou Resort” and “Coral View Resort” sounds exactly the same when Fijians speak English. 😅
This island is definitely one of my new favorite places
