It’s nice to see how the Māori culture is interwoven with the, erm, the one of the other New Zealanders. We stayed in a Māori village near Rotorua. Yes, this is more for the show, and actual villages like this don’t exist anymore, but it’s cool to see how they keep their culture alive. Even if it’s only for tourists travelers like me.
