Pottery Making
We visited a small village, an hour away from our town, to see this cooperative and social project where they run a small restaurant and do pottery like their ancestors did. The latter skill was lost over the generations, but now they’re getting back to it. And the entire place is run by women only. That’s the idea of it.
I found it ironic that women actually do the cooking here, but the only person who is allowed to operate the pottery wheel was a guy. I guess that’s because it’s so high tech that only a man can understand it…
